On May 14, the opening ceremony of the 27th Russian Student Spring Festival took place in the arena of the Perm Palace of Sports “Molot”. 32 students represent the Komi Republic on the main student holiday of the country.

This year delegations from 75 regions of Russia participate in the festival – 3 thousand people represent about a thousand entries. 40 experts will evaluate performances – these are well-known directors, actors, musicians, choreographers, journalists and public figures. Also for participants in all areas will be held various workshops from members of the jury.

The Komi Republic is represented by 32 students of SyktSU, Syktyvkar Forest Institute, Komi Republican Academy of State Service and Management and Syktyvkar Automotive College. They perform in the directions of “Music”, “Dance direction”, “Original genre”, “Journalism”, “Theater direction”, “Video”.

The closing ceremony will be held on May 18 at the Hammer Sports Palace in Perm. The names of the winners in all nominations will also be announced there.
